The most important part of an internal corporate event is the sincerity of act that is technically business. Our work is a lot more than just work; it’s our second life filled with its own jokes and memories, with people we care about. That’s why internal events I organize are anything but cold and formal meetings; they look more like a bit crazy friendly gatherings. It seems that it’s very easy to organize an event like that. It’s like you just need to find a decent restaurant, right? However, when your over-sociable waiter starts to insist on signing a karaoke duet with you, your boss demands a balalaika and a bear right freaking now, and Lucy has a food allergy suddenly revealed, you starts to be uncomfortable. To avoid this, please, leave the organization to me. I always have a balalaika and a bear with me, and I don’t know what’s “uncomfortable” is.
